The frame seems pretty lightweight, but the person putting it together said it's sturdy. I ordered this for a guest bedroom, so it won't be getting daily use. I like the roominess under the bed allowed by the height of the bed frame, which makes it good for storage if you're inclined. The 14" tall frame gives about 12" of space under it. The slats have around 7" between them. I had a hard time finding this information when I was looking at the description.. Judy. Whiteland, IN. Mon Jun 29 2026

This is great. Seems structurally stable. Easy to put together. Two complaints. The silver metal bolts are visible on the outside of the posts, so I’m spray painting those to match the frame. The bigger complaint is that the mattress slides. The bottom rails are smooth and flush. there’s no recessed area for the mattress to sit in to keep it in place. So we will be installing a rail of some sort to keep it from moving every time you get in and out of bed.. Liz P. Ohio. Wed May 13 2026

Beautiful, well made bed. My kid loves the LED light, and uses it as a night light. The instructions were easy to understand, and everything was labeled clearly. My only complaint was that on one step, it didn’t specify which bolts to use, and after scrambling, we realized they were already bolted, so we needed to loosen them and re-install them. Other than that, it took maybe an hour to put it together. The color is nice, and the drawers are a nice addition. Very satisfied with this bed!. Aar. Rapid City, SD. Tue Sep 01 2026

Looking for a stylish bed that blends comfort, storage and sturdy build? This bed features elegant fluted detailing and a padded wingback headboard. The integrated storage footboard maximizes space, while the robust wood and steel frame ensures stable rest. It is a functional and eye-catching centerpiece for your bedroom.

The fluted bed frame is really a nice quality piece of furniture. I bought this bed and another one with a metal frame at the same time and this one is by far a much better quality. The storage bench and drawers on the end are a great storage solution, especially for teens. It did take me over 7 hours to put this together myself due to unclear instructions and Allen wrench screws that were difficult to reach and turn.. Veronica. Brownstown Twp, MI. Sat Aug 15 2026

Saw a similar frame to this one at a different site but they had gone out of business. Found this one on Wayfair and really like this frame. The instructions were somewhat confusing and the tool wrench supplied could have been a little longer as it was difficult to access screws to tighten. Once the top panels were installed it was difficult to make sure the panel screws were tightened correctly. The corners are carefully rounded, making it easy to clean with just a damp cloth. Its modern style effortlessly blends with any home decor, adding a touch of elegance and refinement to your space.

I purchased this new bed frame because I am replacing my mattress, and I want more storage. I would have loved a wood frame - same size. I had to default to metal for nearly a third of the price. Next year perhaps. The legs of this frame allow for around 9” of under bed storage. You cab see in my photos my old box spring which is half height and accommodated my old double pillow top mattress. I put off replacing the old mattress too long and so I am so excited to sleep on it! This Bed frame is easy to assemble, bery sturdy, and the only reason for using my old box spring is for the height. The frame has strong cross bars which are the only frame supports you need. king size platform bed can be paired with any king size headboard to create a complete bed set. Its unique & modern design gives the impression the bed floats above the ground, giving the entire room an airy feel. This bed also features a unique metal and hardwood slat construction allowing for easy assembly, sturdy construction and easier handling.

For the price it was a particle board wrapped cheap looking bed that came chipped and warped. We should have known better than to go through the painful million steps to assemble in which holes were missing. Luckily my husband is extremely handy and could drill the holes the company forgot to drill in one entire board. After all the trouble the bed just looks like the cheap particle board bed it is. Very disappointed. I do not recommend and will be asking Wayfair to make it right. Shaun. Sun Oct 04 2026
