This is my third Dyson Animal. I keep one upstairs that is 10 years old and this new stand one I am keeping downstairs. I am very satisfied with Dyson vacuums. The suction power is excellent. I like the adjustable carpet level and a longer court, which my older Dyson does not have. It is a heavier, vacuum and many others on the market, but I have found that the lighter vacuums do not have the suction power that the Dyson does, so the weight of the vacuum is of no significant consequence to me. I do think it would be perfect for anyone that does an every day wet mop, because it works best on lightly soiled areas. This is a great vacuum cleaner I had just the ordinary V8 before this but you can really tell the difference in the suction, as a lady with long hair the hairs iwere always getting entwined in the brush bar but this is brilliant as I haven't got that problem anymore as hairs go straight past, another thing I like is the switch you can turn it off and on and don't have to hold the switch down which is much better. Honestly This little vacuum is great! I was prepared for a more “temu” version of the real thing, but it’s not! Gentle enough to use on throw carpets on the low setting without eating the carpet. The high setting really worked on my bedroom carpet! The green light helped see even under the bed. I received my Dyson Air Purifier/ Humidifier as a tenure gift from my employer. I’ve had it about 7 weeks and very happy with my selection. I use it in my small 10x10 bedroom and it makes the room significantly cooler and the air fresher. It is very quiet and does not bother my sleeping at all. I did have some concerns with the humidifier not working, but after a little online research I didn’t have the humidity setting high enough. Love it! The 3 "speeds" allow me to start this with a less threatening noise to my dogs and slowly ramp up. This is a great tool to clean dog fur from hard floors. This vacuum is perfect for my little place. It’s just a smaller version than the larger one that my daughter has. But the suction on this vacuum is outstanding! I read some of the other reviews who said it didn’t have much suction power but this one sucked up a lot of dog hair. I haven’t had a vacuum in a week and I have a golden retriever. You can see in the photo how much hair it sucked off my rug on the the floor and from the couch! I love this little vacuum!! it also has a really long cord, which is great. I don’t have to keep unplugging and plugging in somewhere else. It has several attachments that are helpful too. I also read where someone said when they vacuumed dust came out from the back. I didn’t have that problem at all and I’ve only got the one rug in my living room, which is a small space rug and then I have the hardwood floors, there was no dust coming out of this vacuum cleaner. This stick vacuum has amazing suction! Additionally, there are numerous various-sized attachments and an extra filter.
