These chairs are compact but sturdy. I love the Mid Century Modern look to them. Unboxing was a bit frustrating—the Styrofoam crumbled everywhere, creating quite a mess, and the screws were taped to it, which made cleanup even more difficult when removing them. During assembly, pieces F and G (the lower cross bracing) were especially tricky to align, and many of the screws didn’t line up easily with the predrilled holes. Step 10 was particularly challenging, as there were no predrilled holes for those screws, making installation much harder than expected. I started with the last step instead, and after that, assembling the other chairs was super easy and much faster. For a moment, we honestly regretted buying them because the first one was so frustrating to put together. But once we figured out the correct way to assemble them, it really wasn’t that bad. Very cute table. The table was able to be assembled in maybe 10 minutes very fast easy straight forward. However, the chairs we received came pre drilled but the screen holes didn’t line up when it came to fastening the back of the chair on. The seats were easy but the back of the chair was by far the hardest. I do not see anyone being able to do the chairs solo so definitely would be a second hand if your holes were as poorly placed as ours. Once we got it it done we were happy we this finished product.
