This is a good product. It is quite narrow, more like a sofa table in size. However, it works great for our purpose. We use it as a breakfast table for two in our kitchen. It is behind the sofa facing the tv. It has plenty of room for my spouse and I along one side and has space for all the newspapers and magazines that accumulate around us. Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. The pedestal for the table to sit on is attractive and easy enough to put together if you turn it sideways and not straight up and down, the top was easy to assemble, but there seems to be less than perfection in the adjoining pieces of the two table tops and whatever I tried, I could not get the entire length to close completely however, it’s still beautiful.
