Very nice king size bed frame, but it has SO MANY PIECES.. it took us 4 hours to put this together. The drawers underneath are flimsy wire racks that have tiny plastic wheels underneath. The drawers are deep and they hold a lot of stuff. I opted for the white glove delivery and I’m glad I did. It took two men to put it together and carry it up to our second floor bedroom. The wood color is more reddish brown than the photo. It was initially a bit much, but It’s growing on me. The distressing effect is a bit too heavy, overdone (see the closeup photos). Hand-finished solid mango wood gives this storage trunk dynamic character by highlighting unique grain patterns, knots, and variations on all of the surfaces. It's clean-lined and elevated by two metal sled legs for a modern touch. The top opens on a hinge to reveal a spacious inner compartment to keep blankets, heirlooms, toys, and other items. Clean-lined and minimalist in design, the top is a quick surface to rest a book or a couple of baskets.

The trunk is a beautiful piece of sturdy solid wood. I purchased it because it has the black metal legs and front handle that complements my current industrial bedroom furniture. Only four stars because it arrived damaged in two places. One at the left hinge attachment to the wood trunk, the other is a split in the wood on the right side of the trunk where the leg attaches. We were able to nail the wooden block into place to attach the metal leg securely and hopefully prevent further splintering. The quality control needs to be in place for both the preparation of the furniture for shipment AND ensuring the shipper HANDLES THE FURNITURE WITH CARE DURING SHIPMENT. I am extremely happy with this bed frame! It arrived well-packaged and all of the parts were clearly labeled, which made assembly much easier than I expected. While it did take some time to put together, the instructions were straightforward and everything fit together properly. The storage drawers are one of my favorite features. They slide smoothly and provide a surprising amount of extra storage space for blankets, sheets, seasonal clothing, and other items that would normally clutter up a bedroom. The built-in headboard shelving is also incredibly convenient for keeping everyday essentials within reach. The LED lighting adds a nice modern touch and creates a cozy atmosphere in the room, especially in the evenings. I also love the built-in charging station, which helps keep cords organized and makes charging devices overnight much more convenient. The frame feels sturdy and well-made once assembled, with no squeaking or wobbling. The dark wood finish looks even better in person and gives the room a clean, modern look. Overall, this bed combines style, storage, and functionality in one piece of furniture and has been a great addition to my bedroom.
