The sofa/loveseat has a great style and seems very sturdy. The measurements state it, but keep in mind the seat sits higher off the floor than most sofas. I don't mind because it's a nice piece for the price but at 5'7" my feet dangle a bit. The seat cushions are not stiff. Sort of springy. For lounging horizontally you will need pillows. As shown there is no cushioning on the side arm rests. The fabric has a little more movement than expected. I imagined a velvet or mohair which it is not but it's a very sofa material. I'm adding photos. We haven't used it yet just tried it out quickly as it's being sent to an apartment. There were no creaks or squeaks, just the springy cushions as mentioned. We use hand held carpet cleaner for the more difficult ones, and it comes out easily with that. The fabric is starting to pill, but that’s expected and really my only complaint. Update 3 years in--still beautiful. Got lazy and put the cushion covers in the washer/dryer on low heat instead of using the carpet cleaner, and they came out completely fine & look brand new!
