Very nice high quality chair perfect for a low counter or kitchen island. The seat is almost 26 inches high which does not work for higher counter top seating. But I do love the quality materials made from Hawaiian sea grass the delicate pattern really stands out. I highly recommend this chair but be careful to measure the height.. Julie. These are really nice stools. We purchased four. The first one took about a hour to put together, but once I was sure of how to do it, the remaining three went pretty quick. I noted that one prior reviewer mentioned that these stools were not very solid (rickety). We did NOT find this to be the case - they are very solid. You just have to properly tighten the screws.
