i ordered two of these to put side by side in bedroom, they’ve held up well over the past couple years, my cat likes to scratch the front of the drawers, luckily it doesn’t leave scratch marks. the drawers can be a bit tricky to pull in and out because it’s just wood on wood and not on a metal track but i knew that before buying them and it’s not a deal breaker for me. i still open and close them everyday without frustration. i took 1 star off because some of the veneer on the edge was unstuck and sticking up when we received the item. wayfair did give a partial refund as compensation. You get slightly better than you pay for. The design is nice. The size is decent. The laminate is peeling off the edges out of the box. That flaw can be fixed with some glue. It uses stickers to cover screws. The screw holes actually lined up. The doors aren’t obviously crooked either. I needed something just to hide some electronics. This TV console seems sturdy, has good storage, and is the perfect size. Yes, it is a laminate over particle board, but the finish looks nice. I think it’s a good value for the price. It does take a little while to assemble, but it wasn’t bad. My advice to anyone else is to make sure you put a level on it and use your leg adjusters to get it perfectly level before you put the back on to make sure you build it square. That may be why I saw some reviewers saying they couldn’t get the doors quite right. I will say the handles that came with the unit were not a good color. They were practically orange, not champagne bronze-ish like I thought from the photos on the website.
