I ordered this in brown. It’s a bit darker than I thought it would be (first photo in review is lighting from the blinds being open, second photo is blinds and overhead light) but I love it still. its beautiful and sturdy, I really needed a bigger book shelf to hold all the books I had around the house and this fit the bill perfectly. I love the arch Sao much it really elevates our whole living room. It required book ends though but I didn't mind having to find some I liked, it adds a level of elegance to the shelves too. The rounded top gives it a castle-like flair and even reminds me of the iconic hobbit doorways from the Lord of the Rings. Assembly was incredibly easy-honestly, the easiest piece of furniture I’ve ever put together. The instructions were clear, simple, and well-written, and everything fit together perfectly. It was almost therapeutic, like putting together a puzzle and very stress-relieving. The bookcase was packaged extremely well for shipping, and the wood feels sturdy and high quality.
