I bought this primarily as a reading nook lounger. It weighs 50 lbs and I wasn't home when it was left leaning on its end on my porch. I'm a 60 yo woman and managed this solo. It took some work to shimmy this into the house but the room it went into is near the front door. If you have steps you will absolutely need 2 people. The box is big and awkward and difficult to get a good grip. Once in the room, I leaned it against the wall with the bottom facing me. So when you open the box the underneath is showing. Locate the little box with the legs, cut away the protective plastic, screw in the legs and then voila lower it down. The legs have felt stick ons and easy to slide from there if you have hard floors. It does have some unsightly metal brackets attached on both sides so I covered it with a cute throw. Plus I bought the cream color and it could get dirty fast. Hard to say how long the cushion will remain supportive. But overall I feel it was a decent purchase for the price point.. Lisa. The only thing I would say is there is a delivery service to sign for it and they were not willing to work with me on scheduling a delivery day that worked for me. Great Lounger!! I bought this to help me get through my chemo therapy after colon surgery. I was diagnosed with Stage II elevated adenocarcinoma in November of 2025. Post surgery and then through my first two rounds of chemo pills my recliner just wasn’t doing it for me. But now, I have my own “lounge of luxury”. It’s been perfectly comfortable and really helps get me through my down days. Delivery was fast and unpacking setup was easy. It was a very long 4 day wait to use it. Super comfy and easy to adjust. My son came over and after sitting in mine, he fell in love with it so much he also bought one. Great value for the price! ...I feel like I need to add to my review after owning it for a while, the zipper came apart but I was able to unzip it and the zipper realigned with no hassle. Great and comfy beautiful chair! Comes with two arm pillows that are not pictured. I do use one of the pillows to support my back as this is more of a square shape chair. Needed to put the cushions in the dryer to fluff them, which wasn’t apart of the directions for unboxing. The removable covers are great for spills. Had to iron out the wrinkles after unboxing.. It's been home for a hours and I already love this chaise! It wasnt hard to assemble but I needed my husband's muscle to put the back on. It fluffed out to a nice size already. The blue is very rich and matches my navy blue decor perfectly. It really is very soft and comfy for me to lounge in. Im 5'3, 180lb. My 3y daughter and 2y grandson fit comfortably with me in this chair. My husband said it was a little low for him but still comfortable & he is 6'2. If your contemplating, just buy it.
