I would have loved to give this bed 5 stars, but for two reasons I could not. First, the legs are not even. I followed the directions to a T and there is definitely uneven legs. This bed frame is great and looks to be made of nice material. The directions completely miss a few steps (putting the actual headboard piece onto the support posts), so I ended up having to undo some parts and redo them. I still couldn't get the headboard fabric piece to align exactly with the side posts. Assembly took around an hour. Also, the wrench that is provided is too big for the space the bolts are supposed to go, so it was very difficult to tighten everything properly. The bed does look exactly like the photos and the materials seem durable. I don't love that the support pieces underneath the bed are unfinished cheap wood, but that's pretty common. So pretty! The wood on this bed is solid with a nice grain. It's a beautiful neutral oak color as you can see compared to our reddish red oak floors. The rattan is real not plastic and backed by a wood panel (so your head isn't going to crack or break the weave). The side boards are one solid piece (vs two shorter pieces patched together which is much less stable) and the platform rails have velcro on the ends to keep it from shifting around the bed.
