Purchased driftwood beige - exactly as pictured and is indeed solid wood construction, but the finish covers the natural grain of the wood. It has a fake wood grain embossed in a thick, plastic-y finish, whereas I expected (and would have preferred) a pickled natural wood look. Regardless, its well made and well designed. Packaged very well with no damage to components. Assembly can be done solo, and I like the Japanese style joinery.. Anonymous. Mauldin, SC. Sun Sep 13 2026

Strong wooden slats keep the mattress stable without a box spring. Vintage gourd-shaped wood legs add charm and sturdy support. 2 people can easily assemble it in just 45 minutes with clear step-by-step instructions.

Love this bed. My only wish is that we had purchased it in black (I just wasn't sure if I could pull the trigger on the more dramatic color at the time). If you're on the fence, go with the black!!!! It looks great in the white/ivory color in our new house (so honestly, I'm very happy with the one we chose) and the tall headboard back is nice and stoic. The bed holds our thick pillow-top mattress well. Keep in mind your bed height will be a higher with a thicker mattress on it, unless you have a less cushiony mattress. I'm short so I have to jump a little to get on it, but I still love it. It's a very grown up bed and really elevates our room. Took some time to assemble but worth all the effort! The box it comes in is com pact...you will be surprised! No regrets here and great price for what you get!. Bianca. NY. Tue Oct 06 2026

This bed is worth buying. Got it in the black full and white queen. Love the look and was easy to assemble. Had to request another piece because of damaged piece on the black bed. The white bed had the same piece damaged but not as noticeable as the black one so I believe they need to changed the way it is packaged to ensure the piece is not damaged. The delivery was on time and they are nice as usual. It is a sturdy bed that’s why I got the white as well.. Donna. Kannapolis, NC. Tue May 19 2026
