I ordered the 12 inch luxury medium firm mattress. I love it already. The description says firm but it’s super soft and comfortable. The mattress came in a box, you just cut the plastic off and it’ll flare up on its own. Very quick and easy.. Franchesca. Florissant, MO. Wed Oct 14 2026

Great quality mattress, giving it four stars only because, while the title indicates firm, the description on the sight rates it right in the middle of plush and firm-exactly at medium, which is what I wanted. I was able to buy a topper and I actually love that I have the firm support for my lower back and a little squish on top for comfort. The mattress is very well made, no sagging off the side of the bed when sitting, it didn’t have much of a smell when unboxing, fully “inflated” and aired out for a few days as instructed before easily plopping it onto the Wayfair foundation I bought to match!. Crystal. Springfield, IL. Wed Oct 14 2026

A heavy package to place on the platform bed but once set it’s easy to unpack and expand. The “Firm” description is accurate and just what I wanted. C.m.. Florida. Sat Jul 18 2026

Mattress in a box with premium gel foam+bamboo memory foam, fiberglass-free, 2 sides design cover, and medium firm to extra firm for back pain, low motion transfer. Experience the luxury of high-quality mattresses, and enjoy a deep and restful sleep experience.

The mattress is comfortable enough and popped up to full-size within 24 hours. Unfortunately, that full-size is closer to 6 1/2 than the actual 8 inches that I ordered. I’m used to it on Grindr, but kind of disappointed with Wayfair. I ordered that size in particular because it would fill the gap on my new mattress frame and headboard that I also just bought so now I have an empty 2 inches that I have to stuff with pillows or buy a new extra large, extra firm bolster.. Nick. San Francisco, CA. Mon Oct 12 2026

The Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Collection provides an elevated level of comfort and support, with the added benefit of features to help keep you cool all night long.

I enjoyed a S&F mattress for 22 years, and honestly, I felt that it still had some life left in it. Still comfortable and solid after all those years. I was moving to a new house and thought it was probably time to replace the old S&F mattress/boxspring. I ordered a new Queen Lux Estate Tight Top Medium and was delighted to learn that it did not need a boxspring - one less bulky item to move. I ordered the foundation platform with the mattress for support and to extend the life of the mattress. I expected the same quality and comfort from my new S&F mattress and have not been disappointed at all! The biggest take away from this new S&F purchase has been the witnessing of the consistent quality of the product from my initial purchase 22 years ago!. Dream Sleep. Provincetown Ma. Great mattress! I have chronic back pain due to scoliosis. I initially purchased a dreamcloud firm mattress and it felt too soft. Swapped it for this one and I couldn’t be happier! It has minimal bounce and doesn’t sink when you sit on the edges. Definitely worth the price and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a firm mattress.. Anonymous. Sat Aug 08 2026

Definitely a step up from what I had before. However, this is supposed to be a firm mattress, but maybe because of the pillow top does not feel like one. It is comfortable, but for me specifically it isn’t firm enough for my upper and mid back. It feels like it sinks too much right around that area. My wife however finds it to be very comfortable..
