This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I have had other similar beds where the drawers are made of plastic. I am glad that I paid someone to install it because it took a pro more than an hour. The bed took forever to put together, definitely will need at least 2-3 people and ample time to assemble. The drawers suck. They do not slide in and out easily whatsoever. Practically every time I open a drawer, it’s a balancing act. Any sort of metal brackets would have been far better than whatever wood they gave us for the drawer slides. Crazy that the original price was so high when the quality of the product doesn’t even come close to being worth half the price.
