Solid wood + predator-proof locks. Roomy 19 ft² fits 4 chickens; expand with optional run (68”Lx41”W). Happy hens, stress-free care!

Great coop for the price! Bought this as a starter coop and it surpassed my expectations. Easy to assemble - as other reviewers stated, the wood is thin and prone to splitting. Slow and steady when tightening the screws is key. The removable tray for cleaning is a plus. Wheels are great for moving it around. I painted it to match the house!. Kimberly. Traverse City, MI. Great starter chicken coop ! Easy instructions 2 people roughly an hour to put together. We decided not to attach the run to the coop as we attached it to our larger chicken run. Only negative is the latch for the resting box legs is a little on the cheap side so we replaced it with something a little more durable.. Miles. US. Thu Aug 13 2026

Okay! SO- first time chicken owner here. We live in Maryland and are raising chicks and ducks from babies. We live in the woods and therefore have a ton of natural predators. The coop on its own is not SUPER sturdy, but not the worst quality I have seen and works well for a yard that slopes. There are some gaps, so we enclosed the top and bottom with hardware mesh stapled into the wood and secured with cement blocks just to be sure everything would be safe, and so far so good! The cover seems like it will be reasonable for the raincolder temps. Used Wayfair assembly service, which was good but it did take 3 men four hours to assemble just FYI. Overall, happy!. Anonymous.
