We're planning to raise four hens, and I love how elevated the coop is and that the windows can be fully opened. Assembly itself wasn't difficult, the most time-consuming part was gathering all the parts before getting started. Overall, the structure is sturdy. I have it out in the yard to air out, and once our hens arrive, we'll place it against the wall and they'll be ready to move right in.. Newbiehenkeeper. New Jersey. Tue Sep 29 2026

I made quite a few modifications to make this coop more useful. I used strong magnets across the top so we could reach into the run. We added stair tread to the roost ramp so our ladies didn’t slip around anymore. I’d planned to use a solar door opener to let the gals in and out, but I was one day over the 30 day return window and Wayfair wouldn’t let me return it even for store credit. It didn’t fit despite the online specifications saying it would.. Ashley. US. Tue Aug 11 2026

Okay! SO- first time chicken owner here. We live in Maryland and are raising chicks and ducks from babies. We live in the woods and therefore have a ton of natural predators. The coop on its own is not SUPER sturdy, but not the worst quality I have seen and works well for a yard that slopes. There are some gaps, so we enclosed the top and bottom with hardware mesh stapled into the wood and secured with cement blocks just to be sure everything would be safe, and so far so good! The cover seems like it will be reasonable for the raincolder temps. Used Wayfair assembly service, which was good but it did take 3 men four hours to assemble just FYI. Overall, happy!. Anonymous. Love this small coop for my five 7-week old chicks. It was easy to assemble with great instructions. Great value for the price. Chicks love being outside after living in a tank in my garage. The packages arrived within two days of each other due to FedEx loosing one of them, everything good when opened. Though when moving it to is final place in the yard a piece did break off. The material is somewhat thin. We have two hens now so it fits them ok, not sure four would be comfortable though. Stephanie. FL. Wed Feb 19 2025

Upgrade your backyard with this mobile 4-hen coop. Featuring 1.38" thick wood, wide metal wheels, and an easy-clean PVC liner, it offers a secure, durable, and fresh-air habitat for your flock.

Went together very easily. Also easy to move around. I am using it for my chicks until they are big enough to go with my hens. Currently have 6 8-week old chicks in there and it’s a bit crowded. Be mindful if getting for large hens. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the sliding door above where the ramp is (outside of the enclosed run) has no hardware cloth on it at all, and no lock to make sure it stays shut.. Anonymous. Great starter chicken coop ! Easy instructions 2 people roughly an hour to put together. We decided not to attach the run to the coop as we attached it to our larger chicken run. Only negative is the latch for the resting box legs is a little on the cheap side so we replaced it with something a little more durable.. Miles. US. Thu Aug 13 2026

Was easy enough to put together, alone. It's exactly as pictured. I bought it to give my 5 hens somewhere to stay warm this winter. I did not however stop to think about how large my hens are and they will only get bigger. I should have read specs closer and bought bigger. My hens are one of the biggest breeds. Hopefully they will use it this winter. I covered the run to keep too much sun and rain off them. It's also connected to 2 other large runs. Vickie. Silver Springs, NV. Tue Oct 06 2026
