Great starter chicken coop ! Easy instructions 2 people roughly an hour to put together. We decided not to attach the run to the coop as we attached it to our larger chicken run. Only negative is the latch for the resting box legs is a little on the cheap side so we replaced it with something a little more durable.. Miles. US. Thu Aug 13 2026

The chicken coop is a great product, perfect for beginners and experienced chicken owners alike! The construction was straightforward and the instructions were easy to follow. It took about 4 hours to build. It would be perfect for a backyard. The run is small so I wouldn’t have more than 6-10 chickens if you’re not planning to free range. We will free range so I would be comfortable housing more in there. It is convenient height for collecting eggs and cleaning out waste. The doors stick some, but I can sand it down and repaint it pretty easily. This is a great product I would recommend to anyone looking to have a backyard flock.. Debbie. Fri Jul 10 2026

It includes two large egg-laying boxes, each divisible into three separate compartments. Four perches are installed inside the coop to provide ample roosting space for hens. A large removable sliding tray facilitates easy cleaning.

This coop is super cute!!! However it seems to be pretty low quality. The wood is very soft and several of my pieces arrived already split. I would never put 8-10 full size chickens in this, maybe 8-10 bantam size. I’m thinking it will only last a year or two. I just got it to put my baby chicks in so it will work for now.. Anonymous. Was easy enough to put together, alone. It's exactly as pictured. I bought it to give my 5 hens somewhere to stay warm this winter. I did not however stop to think about how large my hens are and they will only get bigger. I should have read specs closer and bought bigger. My hens are one of the biggest breeds. Hopefully they will use it this winter. I covered the run to keep too much sun and rain off them. It's also connected to 2 other large runs. Vickie. Silver Springs, NV. Tue Oct 06 2026

This is a nice starter coop for warm areas. This is not for the cold harsh winters in maine. We will need to seal a lot of spaces between parts and plastic the screen in the doors as wind, rain, and snow will likely get through.. Trina Newbury. ME. Thu Sep 24 2026

This is a fairly well made coop! It was very easy to build and is made of good material. I did paint it which I think will help it withstand water. It has the potential of being drafty so also added insulation.. Jaycee. Richmond, VA. Mon Mar 30 2026

This 150" extra-large outdoor wooden chicken coop (150"L x 58.5"W x 57"H) is ideal for housing poultry securely. Made of solid fir wood with eco-friendly paint, it’s durable for outdoor use. It includes 2 private nesting boxes, 5 perches, a slide-out cleaning tray for easy maintenance, and rust-proof metal wire for predator protection and ventilation. A sliding door separates rest/play areas, ensuring your chickens stay safe, comfortable, and healthy.

Overall, we’re very happy with this chicken coop. It took about four hours for one person to put together. It’s a good size for our five hens, looks really nice, and feels sturdy once assembled. The main reason I took off one star is because of the latches. The latches that come with the coop do not feel secure enough to protect the chickens from predators. We didn’t trust that an animal couldn’t get them open, so we purchased stronger latches and replaced the original ones. For something designed to keep chickens safely enclosed, I think better and more secure latches should be included. There were also a couple of spots on the wood pieces for the perching areas where the holes had not been pre-drilled, so we had to drill those ourselves. Other than that, it’s a very nice coop. It looks great, feels solid, and has plenty of room for our five hens. We’re happy with it overall!. Johnna. US. Sun Sep 13 2026

Featured here is the E-Z Frame 10X20 Chicken Coop and Run Kit. E-Z Frame Structure Kits make framing a building easy for anyone! Using 2X2 lumber (actual dimensions slightly smaller), and with no angle lumber cuts necessary, it takes less than a couple of hours to frame a structure! Our brackets are made of a heavy duty polypropylene material with a built in UV inhibitor that prevents them from cracking or getting brittle in the sun. This kit is designed with a run area for your poultry (10 Ft. W X 16 Ft. D) on one end of the structure, and includes a door for easy access. There is a raised coop area (10 Ft. W X 4 Ft. D) on the other end of the structure that allows for nesting boxes, and a second door that can be used for easy access to this area for cleaning. This kit also includes a poultry door in the center wall that separates these two areas--this will both provide your chickens access between the areas and make it easy to enclose them on one end for cleaning. Just build a ramp to the door and they are ready to go! Once assembled, just cover the structure in your choice of siding and roofing materials. Each structure is completely customizable, so you can design it to fit your project or environment!

I ordered this in advance of an upcoming move. Unfortunately, this next move is only a temporary move prior to moving out of state to where I'll be putting this kit to use.. Alejandro. CA. Wed Sep 23 2020
