This catio is great. It’s pretty roomy, and it’s cute. I live in a townhouse, and don’t have anywhere for my cats to be outside, so this worked out for me to be able to give them a safe area. It looks nice and is perfect for what I need! But the screws for the box need to be longer. I had two come out within minutes of putting them in. I’ve been looking for one with kind of measurements and with some adjustments to the structure (for our needs and wants) this has been great. The instructions were pictures which I thought were a challenge, and a few pieces were cracked.. I used glue and packing tape for repair. But not with removing a star. I skipped the braces ( first steps so I could put it together in the house ) when my husband and I could assemble this outdoors I did end up replacing some of the upper parts with the same wire as the bottom. I purchased at tractor supply then replaced the two doors with just wire ( a good stapler is needed.) The big door at the bottom I added an extra lock so it gives me the access needed for “just in case” my cats would run in if I shake the treat jar. I got two pieces of strapping for the top to support the top by the roof and one for the center just for additional support. I am able to use power tools but I didn’t want to come up with the big design so honestly this is great! We bought this Cat Enclosure because we can not let our cats roam around outside where we live. It took a while to get this cat enclosure assembled but the directions were pretty clear and almost all the parts were labeled. The parts that were not labeled were pretty easy to figure out what they were. There were many different sizes of bolts and screws but all the bolts used the same locking nuts. The assembly job would have been a lot easier if two people were to do it and I would definitely recommend doing the assembly with two people. Well see how they like being in it. We love this catio! We use it for an out door enclosure for rehabbing opossums. We added a lot of branches for climbing, and the metal wiring is the perfect size to keep raccoons out and opossums in. The nest boxes are great too! We’re extremely happy with the purchase and the opossums are too! There’s a small door on the bottom which works great for soft release is on your property. It’s nice. Quality is good not the greatest some parts came dented (wood and cage material) but overall good quality. Sooooo many screws to put together so get your drill ready took three people for us to build but definitely minimum is two. We reinforced the platforms with extra screws and few other areas. We were missing 7 main screws but nothing we couldn’t get at the stores. We have three heavy/fat cats. Overall I’d say if you would like a safe and spacious enclosure for your cats this is nice.. Great catio but takes forever to put together. Had a very strong smell when we took the various parts out of the box but the smell has gone away now that we've placed it outside. I decided to paint this cat cage the same color as my house and detached garage. It is so cute. I’m so happy with how it turned out aesthetically and the cats really love it too.
