I absolutely love this Murphy bed! It’s high-quality and comes with very clear instructions. Based on other reviews, I knew it would be a time-consuming project, and it ended up taking me two days to assemble, about 10 hours in total. The trickiest part was mounting it to the wall. The instructions state it should only be mounted to concrete, but since my house isn't concrete, we had to adapt: we bolted 2x4s into the wall studs wherever there were mounting brackets, and then bolted the bed frame to the 2x4s. You can see one of the 2x4s in the second picture. Securely anchored in eight places, it’s rock-solid and isn't going anywhere. I plan to add paneling later to hide the 2x4 support board. We are extremely happy with how this looks in our TV room, and the addition of subtle lighting really highlights its beauty. I highly recommend this sturdy piece of furniture!. Lisa. Mckinney, TX. I really like the Murphy bed it was delivered on time and was in almost perfect condition. The item had one minor scratch, and it was easy to paint over. The bed was not easy to assemble, but I had help. It looks nice and is easy to lift updown. It is 55 for the price I paid, but I wish the quality of the wood were slightly better even if they charged us couple more hundred extra.. Balu. San Francisco. Sat Apr 11 2026

This was a lot of work to build but it came out so perfect. Very sturdy once built.. Anonymous. Tue Jun 23 2026

Transform your home with this ingeniously versatile wall bed, blending premium MDF durability with elegant design. By day, it folds flush to reveal a spacious work desk, freeing your room for living, study, or fitness. At night, deploy it safely with automatic legs and hydraulic assistance for a serene sleep sanctuary. This is investment in boundless possibility.

Great bed — but assembly is NOT for the faint of heart! I chose this bed specifically for the desk design and mattress base, and so far I love it. The instructions are clear, and I really appreciated that they tell you which box each piece is in. Study those illustrations carefully! I had to redo a couple of steps. The big downside: assembly is a PROJECT. If your room is small, assemble it somewhere else and move it in. I was also short a few dowels but made replacements. The Queen brackets didn’t line up with 16" on-center studs in both mounting locations, so I had to add horizontal 2x4s for proper support. They work great, but now I’ll need to trim them out so they’re hidden. I do have some concerns about possible noise while sleeping, but I’ll update the review after we’ve actually slept in it. Overall, great first impression and exactly what I was looking for!. Reah. Spring, TX. Thu Sep 24 2026

A dual-piston system ensures smooth, effortless opening and closing of the double Murphy bed.

Overall the bed is great. I’m giving it a 4-star because this bed isn’t designed for US buyers. The holes for the stud screws are off and are not the standard US measurement. In my photos you’ll see I used a 2 inch by 4inch piece of wood allowing me to secure the wood to the studs in the wall and then secure the bed to the wood. That’s the only way this would work. Other than that, bed took 3-hours to assemble and is easy to lift up and bring down.. Tianthony. Washington, Dc. Sat Oct 10 2026

This is a solid, well-made bed. I was especially pleased at the quality of the wood. This is not MDF or fiberboard. This is a seven layer plywood with oak veneer. I encountered no problems whatsoever during assembly. The pieces fit perfectly together, and were flush and square. As with any piece of furniture you have to assemble, it is very important to take your time and not be in a hurry. I am very pleasantly surprised with just how good this bed is.. Jeffrey.
