Love the storage bed. Looks expensive and is well made. Love that I no longer use a bed skirt - making bed is so much easier & quick. I did not purchase the assembly pkg. because, I needed to feed my wires for my heating mattress pad as it was being assembled. It took me 3 1/2 hrs. to assemble. Directions were easy to follow.. Here is a beautiful sturdy bed frame—exactly what I wanted. And I am so happy with this Red Barrel Studio platform bed from Wayfair. The velvet upholstery looks incredibly elegant and feels amazing to the touch. Even the assembly, it was straightforward—the solid wood slat system is very supportive, sits completely flat. My memory foam mattress fits perfectly flush inside the frame. The 360-degree padded edges are great for avoiding bumped shins, and the low-profile, no-dust design means I don’t have to worry about cleaning underneath it. Crafted from solid and engineered wood, it rests flush against the floor and is wrapped in the fabric in a hue of your choice. A horizontally grooved headboard with a subtle wingback design completes the look. Multiple center slats help support your mattress (sold separately) no box spring is needed.

Be careful with the products you buy here on this app. I ordered this bed in white, but the one I received is completely different from what I requested it doesn’t even have the lifting mechanism to access the storage space. I am very disappointed with this purchase—it’s my first time buying here, and it will be my last. Furthermore, when the order arrived, the box was in terrible condition it was torn, and it didn’t even include the screws.. Katherine. Sun Oct 18 2026

This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I used a soft upholstry fabric and also laid batting on the broad surfaces. The mechanism works great and does not shut unless you pull it down. It's in my daughters room so it takes a beating and is holding up.. Holly. Ferrisburgh, VT. Thu Apr 16 2026

Four center support legs provide added reinforcement to the internal structure. Plus, two large drawers underneath keep extra bedding and clothes neatly out of sight.

I purchased the queen-size version and also paid for a person through Wayfair to bring the box upstairs and install it. I have slept on the bed for 3 weeks and so far the bed exceeds my expectations. It is beautiful and feels heavy and stable. It does not squeak or move around. I placed the bed on the carpet and the drawers still move in and out easily. Drawers are made of solid wood. I have had other similar beds where the drawers are made of plastic. I am glad that I paid someone to install it because it took a pro more than an hour. I added a headboard to the bed that I purchased from another marketplace. So far, I love it and I would recommend it to others!. Raya. Huntington Beach, CA. Wed May 13 2026

Saw a similar frame to this one at a different site but they had gone out of business. Found this one on Wayfair and really like this frame. The instructions were somewhat confusing and the tool wrench supplied could have been a little longer as it was difficult to access screws to tighten. Once the top panels were installed it was difficult to make sure the panel screws were tightened correctly. This frame gave me the style and look I wanted, without having to worry about matching my other bedroom furniture.. Anonymous. Mobile, AL. Thu Oct 22 2026
