Great starter chicken coop ! Easy instructions 2 people roughly an hour to put together. We decided not to attach the run to the coop as we attached it to our larger chicken run. It is a very nice chicken coop. It is well made and easy to assemble. The color shown is the color of the actual product. It is very cute and looks great. It is easy to move around and I didn't have a concern that anything would be able to get in with my chickens and kill them. The reason I am giving 4 stars is that it is a very, very small coop. I moved and only had one chicken left. I wanted to take her with me because she is 11 years old and my new farm didn't have any kind of chicken coop area. I purchased this thinking it would be a great place for her live out her life. However, it is extremely small. I couldn't stand to see her in such a small area. I think it might be a great area for a couple of bunnies or if you need a place to put small chicks before you integrate them into an adult flock of chickens. I wish it was bigger because it is nicely constructed, easy to assemble and the colors worked for my farm. I will now just resell on Marketplace as I already have it all assembled and didn't want to try and repackage to send back. It is a little small for 4 chickens, but it arrived with no damage and was fairly easy to assemble. Took 2 of us less than hour. Didn't use the wheels as I am going to put it in one place and not move it around. To use as a tractor would definitely not be big enough for 4 chickens. My 12 year old son and I had no problem assembling this in about an hour. I the wood is not as thick/sturdy as I had hoped. I think it will be excellent for our first 4 chickens. We will have it inside. Covered run with a water proof cover so hopefully it will last a little while. The bottom metal tray seems fragile. I hope it can withstand the weight of 4 chickens. It's really too small to keep full sized or large chickens in as a coop, but works well for my chickens placed inside a larger metal frame coop so they have some space in an area they can't free roam and they use the hen house for nesting and sleeping. If you were to use this as a full time coop with no extension, you could keep two-three of the smaller breed chickens reasonably, with regular cleaning. It does move with one person though I will say the material doesn't seem strong enough to last long outdoors (at least not in LA or TX, with heat, rain, and humidity) for an extended period of time. Highly recommend to keep it in a covered/shaded area, if possible and it should last much longer.
