Pictures show our set up that’s a five gallon waterer in the run with some room to spare.. Jackie. Ohio. Fri Oct 16 2026

Great starter chicken coop ! Easy instructions 2 people roughly an hour to put together. We decided not to attach the run to the coop as we attached it to our larger chicken run. Only negative is the latch for the resting box legs is a little on the cheap side so we replaced it with something a little more durable.. Miles. US. Wed Aug 12 2026

Its an ok coop, put together with little difficulty. The ramp hinges broke soon after, the chickens knock over their roosting bars. Other than that it seems to be working out alright. I like the windows for ventilation, the nesting boxes.. Theresa. Fayetteville, NY. Tue Oct 20 2026

I made quite a few modifications to make this coop more useful. I used strong magnets across the top so we could reach into the run. We added stair tread to the roost ramp so our ladies didn’t slip around anymore. I’d planned to use a solar door opener to let the gals in and out, but I was one day over the 30 day return window and Wayfair wouldn’t let me return it even for store credit. It didn’t fit despite the online specifications saying it would.. Ashley. US. Tue Aug 11 2026

Was easy enough to put together, alone. It's exactly as pictured. I bought it to give my 5 hens somewhere to stay warm this winter. I did not however stop to think about how large my hens are and they will only get bigger. I should have read specs closer and bought bigger. My hens are one of the biggest breeds. Hopefully they will use it this winter. I covered the run to keep too much sun and rain off them. It's also connected to 2 other large runs. Vickie. Silver Springs, NV. Mon Oct 05 2026

That's why we are proud to introduce our line of metal chicken coops, designed with both you and your chickens in mind. The plastic-coated hexagonal mesh provides optimal ventilation and keeps even the most determined predators out. Our coops also feature lockable doors, so you can rest easy knowing that your chickens are safe and secure at all times.

Instructions were very easy to follow. I love this idea and it fits perfectly for where we needed it. I question the durability though. I also am not a fan of the fencing used. It tears easily as it’s not hardware cloth. Any predator could easily get through this. We do plan to reinforce it soon, as winter approaches. If we didn’t have a fully fenced in yard, I would immediately reinforce the fencing. We have 12 chickens right now and they have plenty of space.. Ashley. NY. Tue Sep 01 2026

Great coop for the price! Bought this as a starter coop and it surpassed my expectations. Easy to assemble - as other reviewers stated, the wood is thin and prone to splitting. Slow and steady when tightening the screws is key. The removable tray for cleaning is a plus. Wheels are great for moving it around. I painted it to match the house!. Kimberly. Traverse City, MI. Okay! SO- first time chicken owner here. We live in Maryland and are raising chicks and ducks from babies. We live in the woods and therefore have a ton of natural predators. The coop on its own is not SUPER sturdy, but not the worst quality I have seen and works well for a yard that slopes. There are some gaps, so we enclosed the top and bottom with hardware mesh stapled into the wood and secured with cement blocks just to be sure everything would be safe, and so far so good! The cover seems like it will be reasonable for the raincolder temps. Used Wayfair assembly service, which was good but it did take 3 men four hours to assemble just FYI. Overall, happy!. Anonymous. Wed Jul 15 2026

It is constructed from high-quality solid fir wood. All timber is T&G plained to avoid splintering. All joints are mortise and tenon.
