The large chicken coop comes with a chicken run and has two large nesting boxes. The chicken house has four perches with large removable sliding trays for easy cleaning. There are six access points for easy access to all areas of the coop. Features three ventilation windows in the sleeping area to keep it well ventilated. I made quite a few modifications to make this coop more useful. I used strong magnets across the top so we could reach into the run. We added stair tread to the roost ramp so our ladies didn’t slip around anymore. I’d planned to use a solar door opener to let the gals in and out, but I was one day over the 30 day return window and Wayfair wouldn’t let me return it even for store credit. The chicken coop is a great product, perfect for beginners and experienced chicken owners alike! The construction was straightforward and the instructions were easy to follow. It took about 4 hours to build. It would be perfect for a backyard. The run is small so I wouldn’t have more than 6-10 chickens if you’re not planning to free range. We will free range so I would be comfortable housing more in there. It is convenient height for collecting eggs and cleaning out waste. I am currently dealing with some issues with my back and I am unable to assemble it at this time I will update this review once I have gotten it put together 52026 UPDATE I finally hired a contractor to put the coop together and at first it seemed a bit flimsy just at the joints but once the wire was completely attached and the shades put on it is nice and sturdy.
