Okay! SO- first time chicken owner here. We live in Maryland and are raising chicks and ducks from babies. We live in the woods and therefore have a ton of natural predators. The coop on its own is not SUPER sturdy, but not the worst quality I have seen and works well for a yard that slopes. There are some gaps, so we enclosed the top and bottom with hardware mesh stapled into the wood and secured with cement blocks just to be sure everything would be safe, and so far so good! The cover seems like it will be reasonable for the raincolder temps. Used Wayfair assembly service, which was good but it did take 3 men four hours to assemble just FYI. Overall, happy!. Anonymous. Quality is good, directions were straightforward, but there are a lot of parts. This took hours of assembly and could not be completed in a day. It was also a few inches larger than dimensions I ordered, which isn’t a “bad” thing, but I had laid pavers for the exact dimensions of the description so that had to be adjusted. When I ordered this, the pictures were of a completely different coop, so it was a little misleading. However, once assembled I think this will still suit our needs. We are raising 4 chicks currently and this will be a good interim home as we build a larger run and coop.
