This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I used a soft upholstry fabric and also laid batting on the broad surfaces. The mechanism works great and does not shut unless you pull it down. I purchased the queen-size version and also paid for a person through Wayfair to bring the box upstairs and install it. I have slept on the bed for 3 weeks and so far the bed exceeds my expectations. It is beautiful and feels heavy and stable. It does not squeak or move around. I placed the bed on the carpet and the drawers still move in and out easily. Drawers are made of solid wood. I have had other similar beds where the drawers are made of plastic. I am glad that I paid someone to install it because it took a pro more than an hour. I added a headboard to the bed that I purchased from another marketplace. So far, I love it and I would recommend it to others!. Raya. Huntington Beach, CA. Wed May 13 2026

So glad I paid for assembly. Well worth the cost. The tilt lift & horizontal lift was more difficult than I anticipated in spite of the hydraulics - accounting for the thickness & weight of my mattress. My specialized mattress is very thick & is compressed by the headboard when lowered. I have a Sonu which has a void at the head of the mattress tor shoulder/arm relief & the headboard compressed this area making it near impossible to use this feature. The headboard is part of the bed frame & short of severing the headboard & affixing to the wall 3-4 inches higher this situation will continue to cause discomfort. Also, when raising bed tilt to horizontal you need lots of space at foot of bed to pull up & out as the mattress extends beyond the frame (not clearly shown in photos).. Judith. Saint Paul, MN. Very nice looking bed and looks exactly like the photos. It was also very easy to put together and came packaged well as to not dirty the cream colored fabric. It even came with gloves! I’m really happy with this bed frame! The main reason I decided to replace my old bed was that the headboard was too tall for my bedroom’s sloped ceiling. It made the space feel awkward, and the bed just didn’t fit the room the way I wanted it to. I started looking for a king-size bed frame without a headboard, and this one caught my attention because of its simple design and built-in storage. After making the switch, I’m glad I found it.The gray wood finish looks really nice in person and gives the bedroom a clean, modern look. Without a tall headboard taking up space, the bed fits much better under the sloped ceiling. The whole room feels more open, and I no longer have to worry about the headboard conflicting with the roofline. If you have an attic bedroom or a room with an angled ceiling like mine, I think a headboard-free design like this is definitely worth considering. Another feature I really like is the lift-up storage underneath the mattress. There’s plenty of room to store extra blankets, pillows, seasonal clothing, and other things that would otherwise take up space in the closet. I like being able to keep these items out of sight while still having them easily accessible when needed. It’s a practical use of space that you don’t always get with a regular bed frame. I also like the stepped base because it gives the bed a more finished look without making the design too complicated. The gray color is neutral, so it’s easy to match with different bedding and bedroom decorations. Overall, this bed has been a great choice for my situation. I wanted something that would fit my room better, look good, and provide some extra storage, and this design checks those boxes for me. Replacing my old bed was mainly about finding something that worked with my sloped ceiling, but the additional storage was a welcome bonus. If you’re dealing with a similar bedroom layout or simply prefer a bed without a headboard, this is a style worth looking into.. Naiqi. Sat Oct 24 2026

LOVE this bed even more in person. We have a small room and wanted to keep our king sized bed. We needed the storage underneath and to have enough walkway from foot of bed to the wall. We’re able to store out of season items and extra pillows and blankets. Very happy with this bed!. Anonymous. Atlanta, GA. Sat Oct 17 2026

Be careful with the products you buy here on this app. I ordered this bed in white, but the one I received is completely different from what I requested it doesn’t even have the lifting mechanism to access the storage space. Furthermore, when the order arrived, the box was in terrible condition it was torn, and it didn’t even include the screws.. Katherine. Sun Oct 18 2026
