📖 Austen Collection — Organic Modern Living, Thoughtfully Engineered The best bedroom furniture doesn't just furnish a room — it improves how you live in it. The Austen Platform Bed was designed with that philosophy at its core — a masterfully considered piece that balances the serene aesthetic of organic modern design with a level of functional intelligence rarely found at any price point. The light oak ceruse finish over real oak veneer sets the tone immediately — a warm, natural surface that highlights the wood's organic grain with an authenticity that painted or laminate finishes simply cannot replicate. Kiln-dried construction ensures the wood remains stable and true over years of everyday use, lending the Austen a lasting quality that rewards the investment. The padded headboard is wrapped in oyster-hued chenille upholstery — soft, textured and effortlessly sophisticated. Built into each side of the headboard are integrated shelves with both USB-C and USB charging ports — a quietly brilliant detail that keeps devices powered and essentials within reach without a single additional piece of furniture. It's the kind of thoughtful engineering that reveals itself slowly and delights every time. At the foot of the bed, two smooth dovetail drawers with ball bearing glides provide discreet, accessible storage for pillows, linens or seasonal essentials — keeping the bedroom calm and uncluttered. The entire frame is built to support up to 800 lbs across a solid and manufactured wood foundation with five center support legs and an 11-slat platform system that eliminates the need for a box spring entirely. Clean lines, warm natural materials and intelligent built-in functionality — the Austen is organic modern design at its most considered.

Bring warmth and function into the bedroom with this transitional storage panel bed. Crafted with a tall paneled headboard, it showcases clean lines highlighted by a rustic golden brown matte finish with wire-brushed details. Solid block-style legs provide sturdy support, while the blend of hardwood and veneer construction ensures lasting durability. This bed combines timeless style with modern storage convenience.

Wooden sprung slats on a heavy-duty metal frame support the mattress with no box spring needed. This platform bed fits a modern primary bedroom where smart storage matters. The warm wood finish pairs with many decor styles while keeping the floor open and uncluttered.

This is a solid, well-made bed. I was especially pleased at the quality of the wood. This is not MDF or fiberboard. This is a seven layer plywood with oak veneer. I encountered no problems whatsoever during assembly. The pieces fit perfectly together, and were flush and square. As with any piece of furniture you have to assemble, it is very important to take your time and not be in a hurry. I am very pleasantly surprised with just how good this bed is.. Jeffrey. My daughter loves having the extra storage above her head, as well as down below the bed. Create a refined retreat where soft curves meet everyday practicality. This upholstered storage bed features sculpted headboard and footboard details framed by rounded bolster-style side posts, bringing a plush, furniture-inspired presence to the bedroom. Available in elegant white and warm beige, the textured upholstery blends subtle tonal variations for added depth, making it easy to pair with modern, Scandinavian, or soft contemporary interiors. The hydraulic lift-up design reveals a spacious hidden storage area, perfect for storing seasonal bedding, clothing, shoes, luggage, or storage bins, helping maintain a calm, uncluttered space. Reinforced slats and metal center supports provide stable, box-spring-free comfort for everyday living.

High quality feel and durable build. Beautifully made, shipped perfectly in 2 long boxes that were easy to get in the door and around a tight corner. The beige is very close to the photo color. The assembly took around 5 hours but the directions were accurate and well detailed. Missing two screws somewhere, but it did not affect construction. The hydraulic function at first felt stuck, but simply required the bolts at the bottom of the hydraulic pump to allow for more movement, and then it worked perfectly. Nice room for storage underneath. Easy to lift even with a heavier foam mattress on top. Its nice to have the inner storage fabric lining between the floor and items in storage as well. Love that the rounded corners are not just rounded but also have light padding inside as well.. Anne. New York, NY. Mon Oct 05 2026
