This is a great bed, easy to build, sturdy, and the color is lovely. Our youngest loves his new big boy bed. We love all the storage for a small room. We also appreciate the drawers being on casters so that it’s easy to move them out to vacuum under the bed. I have a few minor gripes: figuring out the placement of the slats was awkward (it has improved from an earlier version of a similar bed, where each slat had to be screwed in; this one is easier). It would help to have guide marks on the frame as to where the slats should go. When the bed is finished, screws on the headboard are visible above the pillow. I don’t know why they’re not facing the back of the headboard. Lastly, I wish there were a cover for the drawers so that the things stored inside don’t get easily dusty. Ordered the light oak color and it was true to the photos. Very basic bed but seems sturdy for the price paid. It's not going to be a family heirloom by any means, but it is perfect for my needs in the guest room. Delivery was on time and it was easy enough to put together with an extra set of hands. I ended up cancelling the home assembly. Note: You will need something to cover your box-spring, or bedding that can be tucked down past it, because it will show through the space in the footboard, which is pretty unsightly.. Anonymous. The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill.
