Pennington Day Bed

The daybed with a pop-up trundle features clean lines, attractive angles, and plenty of classic style. Crafted from kiln-dried wood, it comes in a sleek finish that blends rustic and traditional for a standout look we love. The pop-up easily stores under the bed and wheels out and up when you have overnight guests. It can also combine with the daybed, transforming this piece from two twin beds to a king. Two innerspring mattresses are included, and they're wrapped and generously padded for plenty of support whenever you need to use them.

These beds work well for guests in my extra bedroom. One of the slats broke the second time it was used but Wayfair sent a new set of slats and it has held up so far. Some of the slats are joined rather than single pieces of wood which can create a weak spot. It looks nice as a daybed.. Julie. Portland, OR. Fri Sep 25 2026

Love it! Good quality and look good in our nursery room. Beatriz. Murfreesboro, TN. Thu Oct 15 2026

This twin daybed delivers a versatile sleeping and seating solution for your space. It's crafted from a solid rubberwood frame and features rattan webbing panels for a breezy, textured look. The included pop-up trundle wheels out on casters to easily convert the daybed into a larger sleeping surface or two separate twin beds. With its finished back, you can place it anywhere in your home. Plus, the solid wood slats provide plenty of support for your mattresses.

Very happy with this purchase! The bed is sturdy and looks great. One helpful thing to know make sure to purchase an 8-inch mattress for the bottom trundle. The listing doesn’t specify a mattress thickness, and anything thicker than 8 inches will prevent the trundle from sliding underneath the bed properly. Hopefully this helps anyone trying to figure out what size mattress to order!. Shauna Monae. Ventura, CA. Tue Sep 22 2026

Designed with a balance of comfort and polish, this twin daybed brings a goes-with-anything style that works in both living spaces and guest rooms. Upholstered in soft taupe boucle, it introduces inviting texture, while the solid wood frame and tapered legs add strength and subtle sophistication. The wraparound upholstered back and sides create a cozy, enclosed feel that’s easy to style—layer it with pillows for a relaxed lounge vibe or keep it minimal for a crisp, tailored look. An elevated base and full wooden slat support keep the design light, airy, and mattress-ready without the need for a box spring.

Beautiful daybed for my den space! Easy to assemble. I wish it came with a cover for the mattress that matches the fabric on the frame. That’s my only complaint.. Melaine. Everett, WA. Fri Jul 24 2026

Perfect for guest rooms, apartments, or multipurpose spaces, this daybed combines timeless style with practical functionality. Please note: item ships in multiple boxes that may arrive separately.

Overall the bed is sturdy but it is VERY difficult to pull out the bed into a king especially on carpet. It seems like there should be rollers or something to help with this. The carpet we have is not very plush and it takes a lot of wiggling and pulling to transition to a king. Luckily we don’t have to do so often but when we do it is hard to do with just one person. Doable but very challenging.. Ashley. Williamsburg, MI. Mon Oct 19 2026

Maximize space and style with this Mid-Century Modern Daybed, featuring a pop-up trundle that converts from twin to king size for overnight guests. Upholstered in soft velvet with a curved backrest, it adds elegance to living rooms, studios, or guest bedrooms. The built-in USB & Type-C charging port keeps devices powered, while two side pockets store remotes and books.

Took a few hours to build. But overall looks great! Wish the head board gap wasnt so big. Because of the trundle you need a 6 mattress on the bottom but the top mattress would be better if it was 10 so you dont have a gap between the headboard and mattress. Problem is you want the thickness to match if you want it to serve as a king.. Lisa. West Palm Beach, FL. Sun Oct 18 2026

Delivery was awesome. I’m an elderly petite woman. My FedEx delivery guy was most helpful bringing the heavy boxes in. When my husband got home we turned on some music and worked on assembling it together. The instructions were precise and it went well. It is well made and sturdy. I went to Marshall’s and found the right color of blue bedding to match. Sorry Wayfair, but I didn’t want to take a chance on ordering on line. I wanted to see the colors before purchasing. There’s so many variations of blue. I’m very pleased with my purchase. I have bought many items from Wayfair and have been overall satisfied. My girlfriend just bought a loveseat and recliner from Wayfair because of my raving of how satisfied I am. She said that during Labor Day weekend she shopped at the local furniture stores and was told delivery would be 2-4 weeks. Mine was 2 days. I spoke with her last evening and she already purchased from Wayfair and was waiting for her son to help assemble it!. Lynn. Tampa, FL. Sun Sep 13 2026

This daybed provides a streamlined solution for lounging by day and hosting guests by night. Its frame is made from steel and includes a system of slats that support your mattress without the need for a bulky box spring. This piece is ideal for a home office or guest room where maximizing floor space is a priority. The integrated pop-up trundle rests on smooth-rolling casters for easy movement and can be raised to create an even sleeping surface. It also features a powder-coated finish that stands up to daily use.

The bronze color is a rich matte finish brown. I am 64 yo and was able to build it by myself. It did take a while (NOT 1.5 hours for me) and as another reviewer said, pushing all those plastic pieces in was rough on the hands ! It does seem very sturdy though. Well built, not flimsy at all. Don't tighten anything at all until everything is together - leave it really loose. Had to go back and loosen at first for more flexibility in connecting. 8" mattresses coming tomorrow - $99 deal each so the whole thing will be less than $500 for my grandchildren when they visit so they no longer have to bring sleeping bags or camp out on the floor ! I'd show you after the bedding is on but I'll prob forget so here it is....for now. Wendy. Ocean, NJ. Thu Oct 15 2026
