A piece to this bed broke the first week we had put it together. The piece where the child pulls on to get up the ladder is very flimsy and poorly designed. My husband tried to make a new piece 2x of the same part with no success, so finally just made a completely different design for that piece for the bed so it was much stronger to withhold the weight it needed to. The only complaint I have is that the doors for the cabinet do not line up well for opening and staying latched as well as are incredibly hard to open on carpet.
