Love it, my son in law put it up. It was larger than what I thought which was a great thing. Good quality, great product. Great material, strong, well made. Stood up to a mid west winter and nasty winds. Now the neighbors on the hill behind us cant see on our patio doors any more and it keeps the hot sun out of the house. There were three people putting up the gazebo and it took about five hours. It did fit together very well and instructions are ok. There is a mistake in the manual. There are 8 G1 parts, not 4 which it says on page 10. Also the picture of G1 on page 6 and 10 is incorrect. There are 2 pictures of G1 on page 10 and the other picture is correct. I put the curtains on and we didn’t quite understand how the Velcro tabs should go so that added time. After a few days I took the curtains down as I don’t think we will ever close them. I love this gazebo! Unfortunately my previous Wayfair gazebo collapsed due to the tremendous amount of snow and ice we received early in January. I should have removed the canopy, but have not been removing it in past years. Id simply go out with a long push broom and gently lift up each section to allow the snow to fall off. This storm was different. Lesson learned. Unfortunately, its tough to buy a canopy that includes the ribbing that holds it together and atop the frame. Wayfairs customer service department used the replacement canopy I had purchased then returned and applied it as a credit to my account. I then quickly found an open box gazebo, that in my opinion is of better quality. I was eager to get it up, despite the windy weather here in Quakertown PA, but its up and anchored to my concrete patio acquiring plants, comfy chairs and tables, garden decor, etc. (mostly everything purchased at Wayfair, of course)!. We had a major blizzard this winter and I lost a gazebo and a pop-up canopy in the blizzard .The gazebo was over my back deck and I was looking for something to replace that temporarily, but I didn’t want one similar to the pop-up canopy I had in the yard because that thing completely crumbled under the snow. When I saw this, I thought this will work. It looked sturdier than the pop-up canopy and while I wanted a hard top gazebo. I don’t know exactly what I want so I figured this would work and then if I decided to do something on the deck, I could move this into the yard. It came shipped in one box. Everything was rattling around. I was concerned that it would be pieces missing because the delivery service (which I won’t mention, but we all know who it is) lost it in transit and eventually found it and delivered it .The box was beat up but everything was in it .My original plan for this was to take the the soft top off in the winter so I wouldn’t have another issue of collapse if we get heavy, heavy snow like that again. That will NOT be happening. . And here is why .The assembly of the frame was pretty straightforward. Everything is clearly labeled. It was relatively simple. It took two of us about an hour and a half give or take. So that was not an issue. When it came to putting the soft top on, that is a COMPLETELY different story. Everything went on great until be got to the very last corner. We couldn’t get it over the last edge to save our lives. We tried everything. We tried pulling ,we tried 2 sides at once ,we even unhooked two of the poles that were already assembled trying to get it on. It was an absolute nightmare. My neighbor ( who is a handyman) was helping and he was so mad. We eventually got it on. I don’t know how we did it without ripping but we did it finally ..So now that it’s on. It’s nice and tight. I don’t see any problems with sagging because it’s so tight but I’m telling you putting the canopy top on is just awful. The instructions didn’t give any helpful hints so I read some of the reviews giving some ideas to how to do it and none of that worked for us. We literally had to unassemble two poles and put the canopy over the edge of that and then try and get the polle in. I was very worried about ripping or bending , but I was at the point where I just wanted it done it didn’t care. We had to pull like you would not believe it wasn’t simple in any way shape or form It’s up. It’s great. I love it now that it up It looks fantastic but I will NOT be taking the top off . First, I would like to say that this is a heavy piece and will take two people to carry it into the house. Secondly, I would like to say that the directions are mostly okay. Some things to note about the instructions: The white nylon strings get attached to the plastic loops on the end of the canopy top-NOT onto the canopy itself. The directions make it look like it does but they go into the plastic loops on the four corners instead. Also, the directions want you to put the whole frame together, with the top on, before putting on the material. DO NOT DO THIS. It is MUCH easier to put the canopy cover on while it is on the ground! Then you should not have to use a ladder at all! Also, in the instructions it is not very clear to tell, but the Velcro straps go on the bigger square bar and the screen goes on the smaller tube style bars. To make it easier to install the curtain, line up the straps for the legs with the curtains. Third, you WILL need two people to put it together-at least for putting the top on. There is also a part where you will need to screw a nut into a small space that is impossible to get any other tools into. The instructions make it look like there is a bracket on the outside of the frame, but it is trying to get you to pay attention to the metal bracket that is inside the frame wall, so that you will mount it correctly. Also, there is a piece that will go inside the frame wall when you are mounting two pieces of the frame together. Because the drawings are in black and white it can be confusing to make out these directions. We tried to include pictures of the complicated areas. We found it worked well to use the tiny wrench they provided and squeezed it between the sidewall of the tube and the nut. It isn’t heavy to lift about it is very big and will require a partner to help put it up. I did show pictures of a couple of different ways you can tie back the curtain walls as well. I really liked this feature. Lastly, the part that was very disheartening was the sewing on the curtain. It was a mess. Pieces of string everywhere, the zipper on one of the curtains is sewn shut, and in places the curtain is not sewn at all. This was quite disappointing. I am pretty handy with a needle, so I will make the best of it. But it certainly made me sad to see. I did love that the very top of the canopy had a netting between it and the larger canopy! That will help to keep bugs out. I also loved the two hooks at the top of the frame for hanging things. I really liked that all the pieces were marked clearly and they even provided extra hardware for everything. I also REALLY appreciate that the ends of the canopy roof frame are adjustable so that putting the canopy top on and off is really easy. This will come in handy when we have major storms coming to us here in south Florida. Overall, it will work for us and is a decent buy for the price.
