Adjustable in so many ways -- except one. You can change the color temperature, LED colors, light pattern and music volume, but the fan itself is just one speed. I didn't notice this before buying but that's my fault for not looking closely enough. I'm also skeptical of the 35 decibel level advertised in the specifications. I have a dishwasher advertised as 42 decibels and it's so quiet I can barely tell that it's running. This fan, by contrast, is certainly noticeable. I'm not saying it's loud by any stretch, but it's certainly louder than expected. Finally, the exterior construction does not have a particularly "solid" feeling. I'm sure it's fine, as it doesn't have any moving parts beyond the fan, but you might want to take a little extra care to make sure it's securely installed (to a stud, for example, rather than just through the drywall). This is a nice fan!!! The description is not accurate, it has no light. It was not a surprise for me because I got a description from the Broan site using the fan's code AE50110DCS. I had AE50110DC and wanted to replace it with an automatic fan that turns on automatically when humidity is high and works for a specific period of time (it has a timer, a duration is up to 60 min). The fan allows the user to select a speed 50, 80 or 110 CFM. My previous fan (AE50110DC) had a permanent speed of 110. AE50110DCS at 110 makes the same level of noise as AE50110DC at 110. AE50110DCS at 80 is a little bit quieter, just a little bit. Therefore, I selected the speed 50 CFM which is really quiet for me. I set a humidity selector at 70% and a timer at 60 min. I know that for a 4PC bathroom the speed of 50 CFM is not enough but I keep a door to the bathroom open all the time and the fan will run for 60 minutes, then check humidity again and start a new 60-min cycle if humidity is above 70%. I guess it should be enough, time will show. I had a choice to buy a bigger Panasonic fan which is as quiet at 110 CFM as this fan at 50 CFM, but decided to use a fan with the same dimensions as my old one. The fan and the light are great, I have an issue with the wall control white plate, It won't clip to stay on. I'm also having a hard time finding the model. I bought it yesterday, everything else went super smooth except the last little step. Can you tell me where I can find the white part that goes under the cap that is used to clip the cap?.
