It arrived safely and without any issues. It is a medium-sized extraction fan; it does not include any lighting. I hooked it up, and—compared to others—it is quite quiet. You can hear it, of course, but the sound is not loud. It is quite powerful, and the metal base looks sturdy; however, it does not include the hose for venting moisture outdoors.. Jess. FL. Upgrade your home ventilation with this 80 CFM Bathroom Exhaust Fan. Designed for efficient air circulation, it quickly removes excess moisture, odors, and stale air from bathrooms, garages, laundry rooms, and other small spaces up to 80 square feet.

This is a great quality fan. My handyman assured me that it would suit my needs perfectly. I have a very small bathroom though, so, it would work better for me if I had an exhaust fan and light fixture in one. But, I plan to hold on to this and eventually use it in my basement bathroom.. This is a great vent fan, higher powered than what we had, and it really pulls the moisture out of the bathroom. It's a little louder than what we were used to but it makes great white noise for the bedroom on the other side of the wall.. Amanda. Chico, CA. Sat May 16 2026

3rd times a charm! Finally made the right choice buying Panasonic after 2 other fans being installed. This fan does exactly what it’s expected to do. Only negative in my opinion is there is a delay in the fan working when it’s turned on. Not a big deal but I’d like it to turn on when I flick the switch.. Lisa. Valley Stream, NY. Tue Jun 02 2020

This humidity sensing exhaust bath fan, energy star offers easy, room-side installation, with “No Attic Access Required”. Ceiling mounted ventilation fan features foldable mounting ears and EZ Duct connector for easy installation. New duct damper technology provides a tighter seal, resulting in reduced warm and cold air backdrafts. The humidity sensing feature will automatically turn the fan on when a preset level has been reached, thus allowing for proper ventilation throughout the room.

This is a nice fan!!! The description is not accurate, it has no light. It was not a surprise for me because I got a description from the Broan site using the fan's code AE50110DCS. I had AE50110DC and wanted to replace it with an automatic fan that turns on automatically when humidity is high and works for a specific period of time (it has a timer, a duration is up to 60 min). The fan allows the user to select a speed 50, 80 or 110 CFM. My previous fan (AE50110DC) had a permanent speed of 110. AE50110DCS at 110 makes the same level of noise as AE50110DC at 110. AE50110DCS at 80 is a little bit quieter, just a little bit. Therefore, I selected the speed 50 CFM which is really quiet for me. I set a humidity selector at 70% and a timer at 60 min. I know that for a 4PC bathroom the speed of 50 CFM is not enough but I keep a door to the bathroom open all the time and the fan will run for 60 minutes, then check humidity again and start a new 60-min cycle if humidity is above 70%. I guess it should be enough, time will show. I had a choice to buy a bigger Panasonic fan which is as quiet at 110 CFM as this fan at 50 CFM, but decided to use a fan with the same dimensions as my old one. In spite of the fact that this fan turns on automatically you may turn it on manually if necessary - turn a switch on, then off and on again.. Alexander. Kitchener, ON. Mon Nov 06 2023

This product features a totally enclosed condenser motor and a large, double suction blower wheel to quietly move air. A small wheel turning very fast will create more noise than a large wheel turning more slowly for a given airflow. This Whisper-ceiling bathroom fan uses a wide blower wheel that moves a large amount of air at reduced RPMs. The blower wheel is also designed to draw air in from both sides, which helps keep the noise down, as there is more area for the air to enter the wheel. In fact, it is quiet enough that you might not even know it's on.

We love it. It moves so much air.. Britney. Longwood, FL. Sat Jun 27 2020
