Unbelievable quality, love the beautiful soft pink/lavender color of Shallot, and while I haven't cooked with this product (I've used many other le Creuset items, and I know the quality's there), I can see this dish being used for au gratin potatoes, pork chops, pork loin, roasted vegetables, cobbler, and I'm sure dishes I haven't thought of. This is a great pan. It heats evenly and is completely non stick for easy clean up. I thought it was an odd shape but it's perfect for eggs, bacon and everything else you would make in a circular frying pan. My only problem is the handle. I couldn't figure out how to attach it properly so it's wobbly when I move it, like it feels like it's going to fall off.
