The 12" carbon steel wok is great. Though it came pre-seasoned, I seasoned it again before my first use. Made some stir fried rice. The result was amazing. I have been using it for almost 10 days. As I also use a lot of cast iron pans, I am familiar with the seasoning techniques. The non-stick function is amazing. I also have a 14" carbon steel wok from Cuisinart. Item has been backordered so I just received while on vacation; therefore, I have not had an opportunity to use it yet. Appears to be well constructed, has good weight to it for cooking, and stylish design. I thought it had a lid (had looked at several before buying), but due to size can improvise with a lid from my cookware. As another reviewer mentioned, it did not come with instructions as to whether it requires being seasoned or how to do so. Will update once we actually prepare a meal.. Julie. Crestwood, KY.
