It is very nice and more sturdy that I thought it would be. We didn’t bolt it to the deck because we didn’t want to drill into Trex. But we did bolt it to the house which worked good. The instructions are a little confusing in some parts because the pictures are tiny. And after I sliced my finger pretty good on the metal roof, I understood why they give you gloves. Razor sharp. I love this gazebo! It was not easy to put together, it took 4 of us about 7 hours. But I absolutely love it! It's well made and feels like it's going to last a long time. The 4 posts are not solid wood, they feel hollow and if you look close you can see the seams in the wood where they put it together. But I still love it. It shipped in 4 boxes, and you'll definitely need 2 people to move the boxes around. The hooks are nice, I have 2 battery operated pendant lights hanging from them and it looks great! I really liked this pergola. We needed some extra shade for our goat pen to provide extra shade and it works perfect. We did switch out the bungees that were included to a stronger bungee due to the high winds we have and they fit great. Easy to install and it took my husband and I about an hour to install. Instructions were easy to follow and all the parts were properly labeled. We also used flower pots and cemented the legs in them to provide extra weight. The quality of the awning seems very good and it is attractive. I would agree with all of the reviews I read about how hard it was to assemble.
