We bought three of these to create some privacy from our neighbors at an awkward angle near our fence. They’re very pretty and do a great job of creating some privacy without being too harsh. Assembly wasn’t complicated, but it was tedious and a bit frustrating. You need to screw multiple nuts into bolts in very tight spaces and the parts are not machined well, so they don’t fit easily. Also, the tools they provide are nearly useless. After assembling the third one, my fingers were like raw hamburger. I recommend investing in a ratchet tool if you’re purchasing multiple screens. As others have said, they’re sturdy but aren’t going to sustain any significant wind. We installed them in soft ground with the included stakes but we will need to reinforce them as they’ll quickly lean. The flower design creates sharp edges that poke out and can easily hurt you. This screen can be freestanding or surface mounted. To surface mount this screen on concrete, you will have to purchase (4) 1/4" concrete wedge anchors that are 2 1/4” in length. To surface mount on wood, you will have to purchase (4) 1/4” lag screws that are 3” in length. Each Tiaga wood privacy fence screen kit comes unassembled with 1 panel. Please allow approximately 30 minutes for assembly for one panel and 60 minutes for surface mount. This screen is made from premium 100% FSC-certified wood. As an avid DIYer, I know the difference between good and bad products. This motorized blind is high quality. Everything from the fabric and housing quality to the ease of installation make this a great choice. Unfortunately, our primary reason for purchasing this was for privacy in the evening, as our deck opens up to community courts and gathering space. As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes.
