The instructions were not the most user-friendly, but since I’m quite handy with assembling things, I managed to comprehend most of the directions. However, I can understand how some people might find it challenging. Lastly, please don’t be like me and attempt to assemble this gazebo on your own. I love this gazebo! Got the 12’ by 14’ and smaller would be too small! Insulated with the windows that look like real windows, they’re not vinyl like I thought. Very easy to remove too if you just want screens for warmer temps. I hired 2 men to assemble and it was easy to complete in 1.5 days. I hired another guy to build this pretty deck under it! We are very happy with the finished gazebo—it looks great and really elevates the space. Installation was straightforward overall. It does take some time, but the process isn’t overly complicated if you’re patient and organized. A couple of helpful notes from our experience since we installed this near a chlorinated pool, we chose to use stainless steel anchors instead of the ones provided for better long-term durability. Also, measuring for anchor placement requires precision—there’s very little room for error. What worked well for us was assembling the top rail (the horizontal support connecting the three vertical posts) first, then standing the structure upright. This allowed us to accurately mark all 12 anchor holes before drilling. We did run into a manufacturing issue after unboxing (not related to shipping), but customer service was excellent. The replacement process was smooth and handled quickly, which we really appreciated. Overall, we’re very pleased with the final product—both in function and aesthetics.
