We tried to get a contractor to install but it was too hard to get a call back. After a month we just installed ourselves. This operator crank handle is constructed of diecast zinc and comes in a baked-on enamel finish, engineered to resist rust and corrosion. It is designed for use on Truth brand casement and awning window operators with 11/32 inch spindles. This window crank features a set screw at the base of the handle allowing it to lock onto the spindle, and a swivel knob at the tip for ease of operation. The reach on this crank measures 2-9/16 inch and it has a 3-1/2 inch projection. This operator crank handle is easy to install, and it’s used by a variety of window manufacturers.

This is a right-handed single arm operator with a bronze finish. It is often found on older steel windows as well as other styles. On the end of the arm is a stainless steel guide roller that rolls in the Prime-Line part TH 22825 casement operator track. The hardened steel arms, worm drive and gears are protected with a corrosive resistant finish. The arm with insert into a slot in the window frame to engage the track. Mounting holes are 3.876 inch and 4.75 inch on center.

This is a diecast crank handle that is used on the Truth Maxim casement operators. It extends out 3-3/32 in. from the operator housing. Ideal for low profile applications. Comes in a white finish.

This Prime-Line folding crank handle fits most casement operator crank spindles. It is diecast construction with a coppertone finish. The 11/32 inch spline system will only fit 11/32 inch casement operators. It is easy to install. The folding design is often used to replace the normal crank handle to avoiding interference with window blinds.

The quality of the awning seems very good and it is attractive. I would agree with all of the reviews I read about how hard it was to assemble. I absolutely love this awning. It’s exactly what I was looking for. It is very well priced and looks very pretty. Sorry for the delayed review, but I did need to hire someone to install it. The assembly and install were a little challenging, even for a master electrician. It wasn't the level of difficulty but rather very vague instructions and more than one incorrect picture. However, we prevailed. Warning: DO NOT remove the tape and zip ties from the arms of the hardware. They are spring-loaded and should not be released until the awning has been hung. Otherwise, it'll be like trying to put a cat in a bucket of water. (we were smart about this) To assemble, have a helper on standby to pull the awning through the roller channel while someone else pushes it. A kid can help with this part. One person can assemble the main hardware. To install the brackets to the home, one person is fine as long as they have the correct drill bits and measure correctly. The brackets are great quality; however, they may not sit flush and level to the wall. We placed 2x2 blocks of wood behind each bracket to fill the empty space and make the install strong and level. To install the awning, you'll want a strong teen or adult to assist. They will need to hold one side of the awning and the hardware while standing on a ladder, as both people insert the hardware into the brackets on the structure.. Anonymous. Fri Aug 28 2026
