It definitely is a two person job. We put it together on a paved area before moving it to the grass. It’s sturdy and my favorite part is the door latches my second favorite part is that the roof covers down the sides. Everything seems very durable and we even had a storm blow through today and there were no issues plus my chickens love it.. M Sembera. Sun Sep 13 2026

The patented Dog Proofer fence extension system is the most effective solution available today for modifying existing fencing to stop larger animals such as dogs, coyotes, foxes, etc. from climbing and/or jumping over a fence. They fence extensions allow you to add up 2 feet of additional height to your existing fence made from wood, chain link, brick, block, vinyl/pvc, or metal. In addition, they proprietary design is custom engineered to to force your dog (or intruder animal) to climb the fence. Once they reach the edge of the arm, they are unable to plant their back feet (which is how these animals derive their strength to climb) which makes them dangle for a time before giving up and falling back to the ground.  Dogs and large predators alike do not have the front leg muscles to pull their weight vertically without the use of their hind legs. Kit includes components to outfit approximately 100 linear feet of fencing. The number of corners and gates may require additional components. (1) 4' x 100' Galvanized and pvc coated welded wire mesh (12) Galvanized and powder coated houdini-proof dog fence extension arms (2) 120lb Test heavy duty black zip ties - bag (100) No fasteners to hold fence extenders to posts are included due to the wide variety of fencing types and materials.

We bought 3 boxes of these tiles in gray and each box was a slightly different color. Not a huge deal since we are putting these under an outdoor rug, but worth calling out if you are planning to use these on their own. Not the best picture, but you can see the 3 different shades of gray. At least we had fun making a pattern! They seem reasonably sturdy but we will have to see how they hold up over time. We have had a few disconnect already, but easy enough to pop them back into place.. Anonymous. Fri Oct 02 2026

Excellent kennel. Strong and tall enough for 2 Afghan Hounds.. Kerri. Cloverdale, OH. Mon Jul 06 2026

This large pet kennel features a sturdy, multi-purpose design suitable for medium and large dogs, cats, chickens, and other animals for both indoor and outdoor use. Built with heavy-duty galvanized iron pipes and a reinforced frame, it provides long-lasting durability and reliable stability. Equipped with a waterproof canopy, secure lock, and convenient feeding door, it ensures safety, comfort, and easy daily care for your pets.

This is exactly what I needed. Two men put it together for me and it went together quickly. We are very to have a play area for our dog, a great space to work on training too since we live in the woods and fencing would be cost prohibitive. I love the cover since we live in the Pacific Northwest and rain is often in the forecast. We opted to put artificial grass down to prevent a muddy mess. The reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the entire kennel once assembled is actually light, the three of us could lift it easily to move it. The framework is seems sturdy but my helper’s recognized right away that with the winds where I live once the canopy is on it could, and probably would, become airborne, the pegs that come with it may be sufficient for some places but not here. They came up with a solution of 4 large landscaping boulders wired to the frame so it looks good and can still be hosed or blown out easily. I am hopeful that this will give us years of fun.. Noeleen. Kingston, WA. Mon Jun 29 2026

Upgraded outdoor dog kennel with a covered roof has everything you need for your pet. Tough galvanized metal frame ensures years of use with little necessary maintenance. Durable elastic cords hold the cover securely to the frame for a snug fit. The pitched roof allows water, debris, and light snow to easily run off instead of accumulating. Outdoor animal house is comfortable and effective accommodation for your dogs or hens. It can be used as a simple backyard dog kennel, chicken coop, hen house and playpen for training. We share the goal of all pet owners to make their pets happier and more comfortable with their families. We are committed to providing more quality pet products to everyone!

**Good Value, but Be Prepared for the Wire Mesh** Overall, for the price, this kennel is a good value. The frame is sturdy 4 stars out of 5, the fencing gets 2 stars out of 5 and assembly itself wasn’t too bad. It looks good and should serve its purpose well. A few things to consider: the gate was smaller than I expected, and the top frame bar runs across the entire length of the kennel, leaving an opening under 4 feet in height. At 6’1”, I have to duck every time I enter to change the water or retrieve a toy. That one’s on me for not paying closer attention to the dimensions. My biggest complaint is the wire mesh. During unpacking, the top and bottom wire came unhooked in several places and became tangled. Fixing it required detaching sections and literally reweaving the wire back together. What should have been a straightforward assembly turned into several extra hours of work. After that experience, I feel qualified to start my own fencing company. On the plus side, the kit included gloves, open-end wrench, and drill driver attachment for the self tapping screws were thoughtful additions. **Bottom line:** It looks good and is a decent kennel for the money, but be prepared for some frustration with the wire mesh, and double-check the gate dimensions before purchasing.
