I do recommend that there are two people to put it together however I assembled it myself with some patience and planning but I had it together in about 20 minutes. The instructions are clear. This is sturdier than it looks and is a large size that you can purchase additional parts to make a full sofa. The cushions are comfortable but sturdy. The only thing I would change is the height. It’s easy and comfy but getting up is a bit difficult for those of us on the older side. Maybe an inch or two in height and it would be PERFECT. I would definitely recommend.. Angelah. The sofa chaise combo arrived in 2 packages a few days apart. I was able to assemble this by myself fairly quickly with no issues. The frame is sturdy and powder-coated, so it seems resistant to scratches. The cushions are more of a cream (yellow based) rather than a true beige (brown based). The seat cushions are thick and sturdy. The back cushions were thin, even after allowing them to puff up, so I put some thinner bed pillows in there and that worked perfectly. This sofa arrived in multiple boxes. It was easy to assemble and set up. It looks beautiful and feels very comfortable. I've only had it for one month. When it rains, the cushions do become waterlogged, which is a hassle because I have to set them up to drain and dry. I'm not sure how this can be prevented other than buy a cover.
