It is very nice and more sturdy that I thought it would be. We didn’t bolt it to the deck because we didn’t want to drill into Trex. But we did bolt it to the house which worked good. The instructions are a little confusing in some parts because the pictures are tiny. And after I sliced my finger pretty good on the metal roof, I understood why they give you gloves. Razor sharp. I really liked this pergola. We needed some extra shade for our goat pen to provide extra shade and it works perfect. We did switch out the bungees that were included to a stronger bungee due to the high winds we have and they fit great. Easy to install and it took my husband and I about an hour to install. Instructions were easy to follow and all the parts were properly labeled. We also used flower pots and cemented the legs in them to provide extra weight. This is a very large 12x12 canopy with a wheeled bag. I missed the fact that it came with a wheeled bag and was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. The setup is easy and my only two criticisms are the placement of the Velcro straps on the frame, and the size of the bag. The straps end up looped directly over the hinges on every single one (see photos) so make them loose when you’re setting up the canopy. The bag it comes with barely fits this larger canopy and there is zero extra room if you want to add on the side walls later. I’ll probably get a larger bag. I have a very small patio and it gets so much sun I rarely use it. This was a good solution. I did add curtains (with velcro tabs) and some lights. Theres ONE tricky part when assembling, the part where the legs go into the frame have a slight slant, if theyre not in the correct corners, the legs go every which way! It does the job providing shade. We use two in a 30’ round pool. Nice to not bake in the sun. Stays put on fairly breezy days. My concern is every velcro tab that hold the top to the gazebo frame, has a hole in each corner, where it’s sewn to the fabric. I don’t know how long that will hold up. We ordered two of these for our western windows. The kitchen could get up to 104°, however, after installing these, we don’t have a problem with that anymore. They’re relatively easy to assemble, but we’ve had experience putting things together. Someone who’s never put something like this together, the instructions are only pictures. The Livestock Portable shelter was very easy to put together and provides very good coverage for any livestock. We have horses and I find this shelter perfect for them. Interestingly enough the day after we set it up we had wind gusts up to 60 mph and it held up perfectly fine.
