[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a smaller hot tub that doesnt have nay natrual light over head and this was the most amazing fit and is absolutley stunning. This is a larger undertaking than building a dresser but with the right tools anyone can do it. I personally had to poor a concreete slab for the hottub. for the Gazebo itself it took me the weekend to install it with my brothers help. def a 2 man job and I wouldnt expect to instlal it by yourself. Im writing this on vacation so I will have to get a pic when I get home and edit my review later. But IO highly reccomend this to anyone that needs some shade from the sun and has a yard to fit it.. Takes a long time to put together. At least 2 people required, but 3 helped to get the next steps ready for the 2 putting together. This Gazebo is beautiful and sturdy, but unfortunately it came with some scratches and little dents on the poles. The company should think about better wrapping to protect all the pieces. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a few months ago and I absolutely love it! My patio is getting a lot more use now that it's well-shaded from the sun. I drink coffee here in the mornings, and we occasionally eat dinner here. There is plenty of space for friends to socialize, and everyone has complimented my new gazebo. Right now, my wife and I are enjoying a glass of wine while sitting here on a perfect evening and watching the sunset. I'm so glad I got it! I can't say much about the assembly because I had it done by someone else. I believe I could have if I had more time in my life. I can say it took about 6 hours for two guys who do this for a living. We had it bolted to the concrete patio with wedge anchors, and it appears to be very secure. We've had some pretty severe thunderstorms recently, and I'm not concerned about this thing moving. I purchased an outdoor fan that hangs nicely from the ceiling hook. Someone else said they put up some screening and used magnets to keep it in place around the part of the roof that raises up. I purchased some screen but have yet to put it to use. Now that we have this gazebo up, which we enjoy, we occasionally work outside when we work from home. Having that option is wonderful. With the help of a lovely outdoor rug and some lovely outdoor furniture, we were able to make the gazebo quite comfortable. In order to hang out there at night, we also installed lighting. We enjoy entertaining as well, and this is always a hit at get-togethers and barbecues. Update- Feb 2023. This gazebo does not hold up To snow Load. The edges fall Apart when removing the snow from the roof. Very disappointed! I hired someone to put this up on our deck. We ordered the 14x28 Purpleleaf Gazebo. We were looking for an easy maintenance option as our prior one (much smaller) was cedar and always needed cleaned and re-stained. We are extremely happy with the quality and look of this gazebo. It is massive but exactly what we wanted- an outdoor living space protected from the elements! The instructions could use a lot of work. It doesn’t appear they actually built it themselves when writing them. They needed more actual written instructions and not just pictures. My husband is very handy so of course figured it all out but it took us both looking over the steps multiple times to be sure we were installing the correct pieces in the correct way. It is critical that you have a tall ladder- we have a little giant ladder and it was perfect. You also need a 2nd person on hand (that was me) as some things just can’t be done alone. I love my purple leaf gazebo. Sitting on my vinyl deck and secured with flower pots and clement mix to give it some weight. The only issue is that, on one side, the curtains and nets do not meet each other and therefore not able to zip up as seen in the photos. Thank God that side is against the wall. Kkncj2013. Don’t freak out if the box it comes in has the wrong dimensions printed on it. The one I got said 10x10, but I ordered 10x12. I had to Google it, and I read that as long as the stickers with the QR code says 10x12, it’s probably going to be the right size. They just use the same box for multiple sizes. The color was true to the photos, on the site. The fabric is a good weight, and quality. The only thing that would make it better, is if there was more velcro on the tie backs, so it would be more adjustable. I had to leave it loose. Also, some thin ties at the bottom would have been nice, to help keep it from lifting as much, when it’s really windy, and raining. It rained after installation, and the water did bead up on the fabric, so it is water resistant, like they say in the description. Over all, it is a quality product!
