I really like this desk! It looks modern and stylish, feels sturdy, and is a great size for my home office. The wood finish with the black frame looks really nice and was exactly what I was looking for. My only issue was during assembly—some of the holes were not pre-drilled properly, which made putting it together a little more difficult than expected. Other than that, I’m very happy with the desk. Once assembled, it looks great and feels solid. Overall, a great purchase!. Anonymous. Tue Sep 15 2026

This writing desk features a distinctive silhouette that includes A-shaped legs and a wide, hexagonal desktop for a mid-century modern look we love. It's made from solid and engineered wood, with a rich, brown finish that highlights the surfaces' natural wood grain. Measuring 48.25" across, this desktop allows you to spread out your work while not overwhelming your space. Two drawers are a great spot to stash office supplies, while two small shelves above them let you stack books or show off decorative pieces.

As the directions tell you, don’t tighten any screws until the very very very end, lol. The alignment will be “off” a bit and you’ll need to “shift” the entire “finished” assembly to perfect how it all lines up, THEN you can tighten the screws. But the weight of it, the sturdiness, the style, all are quite nice.. Jared. Tue May 21 2024

We just needed a desk for working from home one or two days a week, but I didn’t want it to take up a whole lot of room. This fit the bill. I was planning to have the back of the desk facing as you walk in the room, but once I put it together and saw how unattractive the backside is, I switched it around.. Robin W. NC. Sun Aug 09 2026

I love the quality of the desk. It’s heavy, very sturdy. But I’m disappointed that the color is (at best) a medium-tone walnut. The images on Wayfair showed a MUCH darker, rich walnut and that’s what I wanted. Other than that, I’m pleased. If the color was accurate, I would have given the desk 5 stars. Wayfair, do better with checking your images. If the color is any indication, your “Wayfair verified” claim is pretty empty. Do you even look at the “verified” products?. Brian. Trumbull, CT.
