Great desk for a 9 year old. The drawers are fabric, the top one doesn't go in all the way because of the bar in the back. The two sections are held together with 2 wood pegs and isn't very sturdy and leaves a small gap. Our fabric drawers came really dirty. It was easy to put together and works as a nice first desk.. Tiny college bedroom so this L-shaped desk was small enough to fit in and still add some style and charm. Putting it together was pretty straightforward thanks to someone to assemble it from Wayfair. I changed the hardware to a warm, modern gold tone to match the dresser I also bought from Wayfair. My biggest problem was FedEx misplacing all my orders and they were awful. I had to go to the service center and demand they put it in my car once they located it.. Solveig. Avon Lake, OH. Fri Jul 10 2026

I am very happy with this desk. I wanted something that wasn't too large but still offered shelves and storage for my parrots' toys and other supplies. The desktop is also large enough to hold my paper roll dispenser, which was important to me. The two drawers are surprisingly roomy and are perfect for storing smaller items like a tape measure, scissors etc. I also liked that you could choose between installing hooks or the fabric side pocket. I went with the pocket, but it's nice to have the option. Assembly was straight forward, and all of the hardware bags and parts were clearly labeled, making the process easy to follow. While it's marketed as a desk, it's versatile enough for many other uses. As you can see, it works great as a parrot station with plenty of storage while still maintaining a small footprint. I would definitely recommend it.. Corinne. Middletown, DE. Mon Jun 29 2026
