I did a lot of research while shopping for a patio umbrella and Cape Umbrellas offered the best options, colors, fabrics, and sizes. There are many different types and brands of patio/market and price points out there with quite a bit of them much cheaper, but you get what you pay for and this umbrella is a quality built product that will last me a long time. Making this purchase was very simple and Wayfair's Customer Service made it that much easier by promptly answering all my questions, very fast shipping (got the umbrella in 3 days), and giving me the best price on this item. Some particular features that makes this umbrella a top and easy choice are the easy open/close automatic system, the solid aluminum hub, and the 2" diameter aluminum pole that shows the umbrella's heavy duty aspect.. This one is much cooler looking. Don’t know how it’s gonna hold up over a couple of summers, but if you’re looking for a new look something more elegant this is definitely the one. only given it four stars because it could be a little thicker with the fabric and the material.. After minimal use since we bought these umbrellas in July, 1 of them has become very difficult to open. The crank is very tight and grinds when trying to open the umbrella. It also doesn’t open all the way. They’ve never tipped over or damaged in any way. It’s frustrating, but the other one is working fine.. Patricia. Fresno, CA. Mon Sep 07 2026
