Overall I really like this couch. It’s super cute, spacious, and looks great in my living room. The fabric is soft and I love having the ottoman. My main complaint is that the cushions are thinner than I expected, so it’s not as plush as it looks in the pictures. Assembly was also a little frustrating because some of the pieces were really difficult to fit together, and a couple of them still don’t fit together completely. Im still letting the pillows breath, is big but im not a big fan of the pillows for the back, for my taste they are to low. I ordered the Hokku Designs Cloud Couch for our new home and I am obsessed!! We’ve been using it for ~3 weeks now and we love it! The couch is low seating, but we knew that going in and we don’t mind it at all. It’s very comfortable.. perfect for naps. We love being able to comfortably fit multiple people, and being able to move the ottoman is great when you need extra seating or more leg room. I absolutely love this couch! I measured it out with painter’s tape on my floor beforehand to make sure it would fit, and somehow I was STILL surprised by how freaking huge it was! Thankfully, it fits, and it’s also super comfortable. I had pretty much resigned myself to never ordering a couch online again after my last one ended up being way too firm. But after weeks of researching, I finally committed to this one, and I don’t regret it at all Also, you HAVE to fluff the pillows! I was a little worried after seeing some of the review photos where the pillows looked really flat, but they just need some attention. I literally punched and fluffed each one for about 2–3 minutes, and I swear they puffed right up! So if they look flat when you first unpack them, don’t panic. Give them a good beating first. Lastly, I saw a few reviews mentioning that some of the holes for the legs weren’t drilled. I almost feel like those reviewers may not have read the directions because the “missing holes” are actually on the end pieces. The middle section is the only piece where all four legs are screwed directly into the bottom. Once you follow the instructions and see how the pieces fit together, it makes sense. UPDATE the center leg kept bending sideways and the couch would fall down! Today the leg completely broke off. It’s just me in the home with the dog and we are gentle. Very disappointed!! Need new couch. Delivery day I wanted to love this couch, and there are things I really do like about it—but unfortunately, the negatives were hard to overlook. First off, the screws around the frame were difficult to get in because the foam was too thick and the screws wouldn’t catch the threads properly. It took much longer than it should have, and I had to redo sections multiple times. To make matters worse, the included Allen key stripped after just a couple of screws and didn’t fit the bolts properly. If you’re putting it together, definitely use your own tools. One of the most frustrating parts was the seat slats. You can’t get them in unless you loosen up the frame again after you’ve already secured it—which feels like going backwards and risks everything slipping out of place. Now that it’s assembled, I’ve been trying to enjoy it. The beige color is absolutely gorgeous—a warm, slightly speckled tone that fits beautifully with my decor. That’s definitely a highlight. Another major plus the entire couch is washable, which is rare and incredibly practical. That feature is probably the biggest trade-off for the comfort issues. Speaking of comfort—the seat cushions are very firm and slope down toward the center, so if you’re not sitting dead center, it can feel awkward. I’m hoping they loosen up over time, but for now, they’re not great for lounging. The back cushions are soft but under-filled, and the back itself is quite low—not nearly as supportive as it looks in the pictures. I’m planning to add throw pillows (maybe even a fluffy seat topper) to make it more livable. Overall, it’s a beautiful-looking couch with some thoughtful features like the washable covers, but the comfort and assembly left a lot to be desired. I received my couch yesterday and I'm quite pleased. It seems to be very sturdy and good quality. The seat cushions are very stiff, but I'm hoping they soften up with time so it will be more comfortable. The back cushions are nice and comfy. It had a smell when it first arrived, but that was gone within hours. I gave it four stars due to the stiffness of the cushions (but in all fairness, the couches I sat on at the furniture stores were the same). UPDATE: 6 months later...I love this couch.
