This bed is exactly what I was looking for and even better than expected. It was very easy to put together and as you build it, it’s apparent how quality and well-designed it is. The slats are genius. There are two sets of six slates, each attached by a Velcro strap at each end. The Velcro straps then attach to the top of the bed frame. Love the look of this bed. Took a chance bc there were no reviews. The bed delivered in about 5 days. The packing wasn’t the best, but everything was intact and undamaged inside the box. Quality is fair, not exceptional. Upholstery is only on the outside of the bed, not behind the headboard, footboard or rails. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend.
