The bed is very low but that’s something I was looking for. For the guest room I did add some bed elevation blocks only because I have items stored underneath. went to together pretty easy with 2 persons. good quality, seems sturdy. Nice wood, solid. As another review stated, need a screw gun to secure bed slats much easier and faster. All hardware included except a philips head screwdriver that you won't need if you use a screw gun for slats only.
