We are pretty happy with the platform bed. Very protected in the box. The instructions were only pics, which was easy to understand. I love this bed. Assembly was straightforward and only took about 3 hours solo. My mattress hides a lot of the headboard, but I suppose thats on me c or not paying attention to measurements. I took away one star because it was missing some of the screws. I contacted customer support, and their solution was to send an entirely new bed...which would have been way too much work. This is a great bed, easy to build, sturdy, and the color is lovely. Our youngest loves his new big boy bed. We love all the storage for a small room. We also appreciate the drawers being on casters so that it’s easy to move them out to vacuum under the bed. I have a few minor gripes: figuring out the placement of the slats was awkward (it has improved from an earlier version of a similar bed, where each slat had to be screwed in; this one is easier). It would help to have guide marks on the frame as to where the slats should go. When the bed is finished, screws on the headboard are visible above the pillow. I don’t know why they’re not facing the back of the headboard. Lastly, I wish there were a cover for the drawers so that the things stored inside don’t get easily dusty. Love this bed! It was super easy to assemble. The side rails had hooks that slid into the head and foot boards, versus some cheaper quality beds that just use cam locks. Love that!
