So far, so good. Sometimes the motion sensor is sensitive and will go up if I walk by. That doesn’t happen all the time.. Anonymous. Fri Oct 16 2026

A must-have for busy kitchens, this automatic design takes the mess out of trash disposal. Crafted from steel and boasting a brushed exterior, it's sleek enough to fit right in with modern kitchen decor. Plus, a liner is included. Accommodates from a 21-gallon to a 30-gallon trash bag.

A wave of the hand is all it takes to activate the Nine Stars' stainless-steel trash can, while its fingerprint-resistant coating keeps messes where they belong - within. A custom delay sensor keeps the ABS-plastic dual lid from sliding open at inopportune moments, while the unit's patented soft-close system keeps peace front and center. And if you're a fan of saving, you'll do plenty thanks to unprecedented battery life that allows for approximately a year's worth of openings and closings.

The trash can looks fancy and has two okay size compartments to separate recyling and regular trash. Just wish it didn’t need batteries to operate. Also, the lid cannot be locked to the can which is a bummer. Anonymous. Thu Oct 22 2026

The step pedal makes it easy to open without touching the lid, and it closes smoothly and quietly. The matte black finish looks modern and elegant, and the size fits perfectly in my bathroom without taking up much space.. Adrianap. Tue Sep 01 2026

Keep your kitchen tidy without ever touching the lid. A responsive infrared sensor opens the lid as you approach, and a button lets you hold it open for up to 10 minutes while you cook or clean. It runs on 4 standard AA batteries - cheaper and easier to find than the D cells many sensor cans require. The removable bag ring grips liners tight and hides the bag edge, so bags go in and come out without snagging, and the fingerprint-resistant steel body wipes clean in seconds.

I got this to replace two smaller trash cans in our master bath and I am very happy with the choice. The matte black matches our other finishes. Just the right size for the bathroom and is very easy to install the batteries. Bonus it came with trash bags.. Penelope. Lexington, KY. Mon Aug 24 2026

Nice size. I don’t like how the logo is etched on the front of it. And I don’t like how when the top opens it can seem a little flimsy (it wiggles around and isn’t as smooth and steady). In the end though, it serves its purpose of holding my garbage so it’s fine.. Melissa. Manalapan, NJ. Thu Oct 15 2026
