We are obsessed with this trash can! So easy, so functional, and really pretty too. The only thing, and almost worth a star, is that we don’t understand why the back isn’t fully flat. The battery of the lid juts out in back, and there is all this extra space behind where the bag and inner compartment rests. Even if the battery pack needs to jut out, they could still easily shave an inch off the depth of this given all the extra space, which would make this even more attractive and perfect. We love it though, just be prepared to know it doesn’t sit fully flush against its backside. If they “fixed” this design element, we’d 100 go buy that model immediately and give it six stars.. Nina. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recycle at home but end up throwing away recyclables at the office so I wanted a compartmentalized system at work. I found this sharp looking dual trash & recycling can online and got it. When it arrived, I was a little surprised at how small it is. Each compartment is around the size of a plastic grocery bag which works well for my office. It's small enough to fit under my desk but looks nice enough to have out in the open.
